Rangers face an anxious sweat over the fitness of Neraysho Kasanwirjo.

The Dutch under-21 cap suffered a knee injury in the second half of his country’s clash with England. The Ibrox medical team are now waiting to assess the potential damage. Philippe Clement will be hoping that the injury is not too serious as he goes into a busy domestic and European schedule. Kasanwirjo looks to be a severe doubt for the weekend Premiership clash at home to Dundee United. The 22-year-old is currently on-loan from Feyenoord.

Kasanwirjo had pushed himself into the Rangers first-team for the recent games against St Mirren and Aberdeen, playing at both left and right back. The Rangers squad is already set to be taxed with domestic and Europa League group fixtures. They play United and Nice in Europe on Thursday. Rangers are trying to claw back the nine point advantage Celtic and Aberdeen have over them in the Premiership and are looking to make the knockout stages of the Europa League.
