NEWCASTLE UNITED goalkeeper Nick Pope is part of England's starting line-up for this evening's Nations League game against Italy in Milan.
Pope will make his first England appearance since March as he attempts to nail down a place in Gareth Southgate's squad for this winter's World Cup in Qatar.
Pope's Magpies team-mate, Kieran Trippier, is named on the substitutes' bench.
Southgate has lined his side up in a 3-4-3 formation, with Eric Dier returning at centre-half alongside Harry Maguire and Kyle Walker. Manchester City's John Stones is suspended following his dismissal in England's last Nations League game against Hungary.
Reece James and Bukayo Saka will fill the wing-back roles, with Jude Bellingham partnering Declan Rice in central midfield.
In attack, Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden will play on either side of skipper Harry Kane.
