With one out, but potentially two in, Eddie Howe has a strong Newcastle United squad at his disposal for the visit of West Ham United on Monday night.

The Magpies are on a three-match winning streak in all competitions and will be firm favourites to continue that run against a Hammers side who have struggled for consistency all season. The visitors have failed to win away from home since August, but Howe will have to make one signifcant change this weekend.

Dan Burn's booking in the 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest was his fith of the season and so he will serve a one-match suspension. With options thin on the ground in the heart of the defence, Lloyd Kelly is set to come into the team alongside Fabian Schar.

The former Bournemouth defender impressed in the recent Carabao Cup win over Chelsea and should be a straight replacement for Burn. Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles are still around a month away from a return after both underwent ACL surgery last spring, while Emil Krafth will miss around six weeks as he recovers from a broken collarbone.

Kieran Trippier is set to return, but faces a battle to replace Tino Livramento at right-back, with the youngster earning his first England cap last week.

Callum Wilson is also close to a return to the squad, with Howe not ruling the No 9 out of Monday night's game. He would certainly boost bench options, and has a formidable record against the Hammers, although United are unlikely to take any risks.

Alexander Isak, Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes all reported back from international duty without any issues, but Italian midfielder Tonali may have to again settle for a place on the bench. Lewis Miley will again be included in the group have impressed for England Under-21s.
