Newcastle United's exciting Spanish youngster Mo Sedibeh sends message to Eddie Howe
Exciting Newcastle United summer signing Mo Sedibeh netted twice on his debut for the Under-21s last night.
The 18-year-old arrived from Bradford City in the summer after coming through the Bantams' Academy. The Gambian-born youngster is eligible to play for Spain through his citizenship and was afforded the chance to impress in the Northumberland Senior Cup against Alnwick Town at Whitley Park.
On a chilly night at Blue Flames, the youngster opened the scoring at Whitley Park in a hard fought county cup tie, applying the finish from Darren Palmer's cross, before Charlie McArthur's own goal hauled Alnwick back into the game at 1-1.

In the second half Sedibeh's strong run and finish made it 2-1 before Alfie Harrison scored his first for the second string on 62 minutes. Goals from Josh Donaldson (69) and Johnny Emerson (90) completed a good work out for Diarmuid O'Carroll's team.
Sedibeh represented Bradford for three years between Under-16 and Under-19 level before joining the Magpies this season as another Academy find for Steve Harper's youth system. Having left Bradford on a free transfer it meant that the League Two side did not receive any compensation for his services despite training him from 16.
Newcastle pipped Nottingham Forest and Leeds to his signature last summer as they look to give first-team coach Eddie Howe a fresh wave of talent to choose from. Having eased into the semi-fianls of the Northumberland Senior Cup the Magpies will be looking to lift the trophy for the 41st time in their history.
