Newington announce manager Paul Hamilton to temporarily step back from duties due to health reasons
Newington FC have confirmed their manager Paul Hamilton will be temporarily stepping back from his duties due to health reasons.
The Championship outfit released a statement on Friday evening confirming the news and passing their best wishes on to their boss.
The club also confirm that assistant coach Conor Crossan will assume responsibility for all football operations during Hamilton's absence.

The statement read: "Our first team manager, Paul Hamilton, will be temporarily stepping back from his duties due to health reasons.
"The entire Newington FC family sends Paul our very best wishes as he focuses on his recovery. We are fully behind him during this time and look forward to welcoming him back to the dugout when he is fit and ready to return.
"In the interim our assistant coach, Conor Crossan, will assume responsibility for all football operations. Conor's leadership and commitment ensures the team remains in capable hands during Paul's absence."
Newington are currently in 12th place in the Championship and host Ballinamallar United on Saturday afternoon.
