NFL Draft 2017: Thomas Davis will change Panthers' pick if they go linebacker

Davis thinks the Panthers already have plenty of talent at the linebacker position.

Panthers Pro Bowl linebacker Thomas Davis knows exactly what his team doesn't need from the 2017 NFL Draft.

Davis does make some good points: The Panthers already have a combined six Pro Bowls between him and Luke Kuechly. Carolina also has third-year pro Shaq Thompson, who was the team's first-round pick in 2015.

The Panthers are projected to take Miami (Fla.) tight end David Njoku in Sporting News' latest mock draft, though many project the Panthers to take LSU running back Leonard Fournette if he is available.
