Khalfani Muhammad's speed has NFL teams taking a closer look at the California running back ahead of the NFL Draft.
Muhammad worked out for the Broncos on Wednesday, a source told Sporting News. Denver was the sixth team to meet with him. More teams are in line to host him.
Muhammad, who did not participate in the NFL Combine, ran a 4.34-second 40-yard dash at his Pro Day; more impressively, he ran outdoors in the rain. He also posted solid times in the three-cone drill (6.74 seconds), 20-yard shuttle (4.27 seconds) and vertical jump (38.5 inches).
There’s a lot more to like about Muhammad than just his world-class speed, though. Versatility is one of those traits; he compiled 827 rushing yards, 584 kick return yards and 132 receiving yards last season for the Golden Bears.
