NFL fines Buccaneers RB Leonard Fournette and Saints CB Marshon Lattimore for brawl

The league reprimanded two more players for their roles in the brawl between members of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

The NFL fined Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette and Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore $13,367 each for unnecessary roughness, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Neither player was suspended for Week 3. Tom Brady, who jawed at Lattimore right before the brawl broke out, was not fined.

When Lattimore yelled back at Brady, Fournette rushed in to defend his quarterback, which then promoted receiver Mike Evans to run from the sideline and tackle Lattimore.

Evans earned perhaps the harshest penalty from the fight after the NFL suspended him for punching Lattimore in the middle of the battle. Evans and Lattimore were both ejected immediately following the fight. Brady later called Evan's suspension "ridiculous" on his weekly podcast.

This appears to be the end of one of the bigger recent fights in the NFL. However, the ramifications have greatly affected the Buccaneers, who were forced to sign veteran Cole Beasley to replace their depleted receiver corps. The team is already missing Chris Godwin with a hamstring injury and could be without Julio Jones as well.
