After finishing third in the AFC East last season with a 9-8 record, the Miami Dolphins have been busy in the offseason upgrading their roster. The 24-year-old star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will now be surrounded by more talent, after the Dolphins traded for Kansas City Chiefs' Tyreek Hill earlier this month. The Dolphins also hired new head coach Mike McDaniel, a 38-year-old rookie coach who caught the eye as the 49ers' offensive coordinator last season. As McDaniel looks to get the best out of the Dolphins' new look offence this season, he's already praised the "untapped potential" of his quarterback Tagovailoa.

Joining Hill as newcomers are left tackle Terron Armstead, running back Chase Edmonds, wide receiver Cedrick Wilson, guard Connor Williams, running back Raheem Mostert and wide receiver Trent Sherfield.

With Tagovailoa now surrounded by some top class receivers, the Hawaiian quarter-back will be hoping to continue improving in what will be his third season as starter. And it seems he's relishing the challenge, "I guess the only word that can describe that is exciting. "It's exciting times for all of us. Aside from guys we have acquired, it's going to take work from all of us... We've got to do the most important thing as to why we're here, which is just win games."

Tagovailoa also took a moment to praise the impact McDaniel has already had in the Dolphins dressing room. "Coach McDaniel has done a great job, not just with his staff but everyone," Tagovailoa said. "The new players, the guys we've kept. Everyone in this building is optimistic. Everyone has a high amount of character within the building. It says a lot about coach McDaniel, a lot about Chris Grier - the communication between coach and Chris." The Dolphins can look forward to adding further talent to their roster when the Draft rolls around on April 28, with just a few months to go until the start of the season.
