Winger Mark Stone scored twice and center Mika Zibanejad had the other goal for the Senators (18-12-6), as they pulled even with the Bruins (19-12-4) in the Atlantic Division standings. Center David Krejci scored the lone Boston goal but left the game at the end of the second period with an undisclosed injury. - - - Maple Leafs 3, Islanders 1 Goaltender Jonathan Bernier stopped 25 shots while the Toronto Maple Leafs made two quick second-period goals stand up in a 3-1 win over the New York Islanders. Center Tyler Bozak and left winger Michael Grabner scored 1:40 apart for the Maple Leafs in the second period, while left winger James van Riemsdyk scored in the third. New York left winger Nikolay Kulemin scored his third goal of the season, while goaltender Thomas Greiss made 35 saves. - - - Panthers 3, Blue Jackets 2 Center Aleksander Barkov scored twice as the Florida Panthers defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets. The win was the Panthers' sixth straight, their longest unbeaten streak since a seven game stretch March 2-16, 2008. - - - Stars 3, Blues 0 Dallas Stars right winger Patrick Sharp had a goal and an assist while goalie Kari Lehtonen stopped all 22 shots he faced in a 3-0 win against the St. Louis Blues. Stars left winger and captain Jamie Benn and center Cody Eakin also scored for Dallas. - - - Hurricanes 2, Blackhawks 1 Justin Faulk and Victor Rask scored goals to lead the Carolina Hurricanes to victory over the Chicago Blackhawks. Defenseman Brent Seabrook's sixth goal of the season with three seconds left in the game ensured Chicago (20-13-4) avoided a second successive shutout. - - - Jets 1, Penguins 0 Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck posted his first NHL shutout with a 1-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins, stopping all 30 shots he faced. Hellebuyck was sharp when he had to be -- which was not often -- but he also had some last-minute help when defenseman Tyler Myers blocked a near goal with the final seconds ticking away. Jets center Bryan Little scored the only goal from a penalty with a shot high to Pittsburgh goalie Jeff Zatkoff's glove side at 14:46. It was Little's team-high 14th goal of the season. - - - Ducks 4, Flyers 2 Centers Corey Perry and Shawn Horcoff scored seven minutes apart during the third period to give the Anaheim Ducks a 4-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers. Boedker added an assist and defenseman Michael Stone scored the other goal for the Coyotes, who got 38 saves from Anders Lindback. - - - Flames 5, Oilers 3 Left winger Johnny Gaudreau scored twice in a wild second period to help the Flames rally for a 5-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Defenseman Mark Giordano scored a pair of power-play goals as the Flames twice erased two-goal deficits to win their 11th straight home game, setting a franchise record in the process.
