March 2 (The Sports Xchange) - Chicago Blackhawks prospect Matthew Highmore agreed to terms on a three-year contract Thursday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team for Highmore, who has recorded career highs in goals (32) and points (82) through 58 games with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. - - Washington Capitals defensive prospects Lucas Johansen and Colby Williams and forward Mason Mitchell signed entry-level contracts. Johansen, who inked a three-year deal, will remain with Kelowna of the Western Hockey League this season. Williams will stay with Hershey of the American Hockey League after signing a two-year pact while Mitchell will join the Bears on a professional tryout after inking a two-year deal. - - The New York Rangers recalled forward Pavel Buchnevich from Hartford of the American Hockey League. Buchnevich scored in overtime to cap a two-goal, one-assist performance in a victory over Springfield on Wednesday in his one game with the Wolf Pack. The 21-year-old Russian has three goals and two assists in four contests with Hartford this season.
