The Canadiens did not disclose the value of the deal, but multiple reports claim it is worth $700,000. Streit, 39, spent the 2016-17 season with the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins, totaling six goals and 21 assists for 27 points in 68 games last season.
