NHL-National Hockey League roundup

Oct 27 (The Sports Xchange) - The Anaheim Ducks signed restricted free-agent defenseman Hampus Lindholm to a six-year contract on Thursday. Financial terms were not disclosed by the team, but TSN's Bob McKenzie reported the pact has an average annual value of $5.25 million. - - The New York Rangers put defenseman Dylan McIlrath on waivers a few days after reports that the Rangers tried to trade him. Presumably, the Rangers hope McIlrath does not get claimed, so they can send him down to the AHL. - - The St. Louis Blues activated forward Jori Lehtera from injured reserve. Lehtera has missed the past four games with an upper-body injury sustained during St. Louis' 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers on Oct. 15. The 28-year-old Finn is expected to be in the lineup on Thursday night as the Blues (4-2-1) host the Detroit Red Wings (5-2-0). (Editing by Frank Pingue)
