NHL schedule 2019-20: Home openers for all 31 teams

The 2019-20 NHL season is here!

Wednesday, Oct. 2 kicks off the new season with the Battle of Ontario as the Toronto Maple Leafs host the Ottawa Senators at 7 p.m. ET. Familiar faces abound on both teams with each heading into the new year with differing expectations.

At 8 p.m. ET, it'll be a clash between the two most recent Stanley Cup winners: the St. Louis Blues and Washington Capitals. It'll be a special night in Missouri as the Blues will also raise their championship banner prior to the game.

In Vegas, the Golden Knights and San Jose Sharks facing off for the first time since the Sharks shocking Game 7 win and two clubs aiming for an improved season, the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks face off in Alberta.
