Nigeria take on their second match of their Africa Cup of Nations campaign today with a game against Sudan.

While the Super Eagles endured a chaotic build-up to the tournament, there appeared to be few problems in their opener, a win against fellow heavyweights Egypt.

Moses Simon, Joe Aribo and Kelechi Iheanacho all impressed and a win against Sudan on Saturday would put them safely into the knockout stage.

Sudan, meanwhile, were fairly fortunate to avoid defeat against Guinea Bissau in their opening game after their opponents missed a penalty.

Date, kick-off time and venue

The AFCON meeting is scheduled for a 4pm GMT kick-off on Saturday January 15, 2022.

The Stade Omnisport Roumde Adjia in Yaounde will host.
