MANCHESTER City boss Pep Guardiola confirmed Kalvin Phillips would be a doubt for tomorrow’s clash with Cherries.

The England midfielder has picked up “some niggles” and could miss the contest against Scott Parker’s side at Etihad Stadium (3pm).

Asked for an update on his squad ahead of the fixture, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss said: “We have Kalvin with some niggles.

Cole Palmer had a knock in his feet so is a doubt. The rest are fine.”

Defender Aymeric Laporte also remains on the sidelines for the hosts.

Cherries are set to be without Ryan Fredericks and Joe Rothwell.
