'Have a night off' - Man City trolled for what they did after Tottenham defeat
Manchester City were the subject of brutal social media trolling after they shared highlights of their 4-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham have proven themselves to be Pep Guardiola's bogey team over the years, so with the Spaniard on the verge of his first-ever five-game losing streak of his career he might have been dreading Saturday's fixture.
Man City started brightly though eventually over the course of 90 minutes they were picked apart by Spurs' rampant attack - the goals coming from James Maddison (x2), Pedro Porro and Brennan Johnson - whilst Ange Postecoglou got his defensive tactics spot on.

When a team suffers such a defeat, they usually slink off into the night after their post-match media duties and the work begins to rectify what went wrong.
In Man City's case here, uploaded to their X account at 10pm was a 'highlights' package from the game. One X user responded: "What team posts a highlight comp of a 4-0 home loss," followed by a string of laughing crying emojis, whilst another quipped: "I get we have jobs lads but come on whoever made this could’ve been given the night off."
The two-minute long video opened with Ballon d'or winner Rodri - who missed the match injured for the hosts - presented with his trophy before kick-off. You'd have thought the end of that clip would have been the end of it all for Man City, as one fan pointed out: "Our highlight was the first 2 seconds."
That moment is followed by replays of all four Spurs goals with the odd Erling Haaland or Phil Foden missed chance littered chance throughout.
"Been waiting for this one to drop," one another supporter sarcastically responded. Others replies read: "Thanks for ruining our weekend with this clip," and: "Yay I can relive it all over again!"
Rival fans also jumped onboard. "Absolutely shameless," said one Man United fan whilst another wrote: "Na parody account?????," followed by laughing emojis.
