NJCAA Game 24: St. Clair County Community College 80, Pima Community College 70

Mar. 22—DANVILLE — St. Clair County Community College overcame a 11-point deficit to beat Pima Community College 80-70 in a consolation bracket contest Friday in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament at the Mary Miller Center.

The Skippers got 17 second-half points from Isaiah Jones, who finished with a game-high 31, to lead their comeback. St. Clair County was also 5-of-9 from 3-point range in the final 20 minutes, while holding Pima to just 28.1 percent shooting (9-of-32) including just 1-of-9 behind the arc.

Joining Jones in double figures was Tyler Hamilton and La'Tavius Vaughter with 14 each. Vaughter also had a team-high 10 rebounds.

Jaylen Alexander had a double-double for Pima with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
