Northern Ireland remain in 71st spot in the latest FIFA rankings despite enjoying an unbeaten November in the UEFA Nations League.

Michael O'Neill's side defeated Belarus at Windsor Park before squandering a two-goal lead in a 2-2 draw with Luxembourg.

Those results saw Northern Ireland finish top of their group and earn promotion to League B, a welcome tonic ahead of next month's crunch World Cup qualifying draw on December 13.

O'Neill's side improved by 4.52 points during November, while the Republic of Ireland also improved by 4.61 points despite their 5-0 hammering to England. That sees Heimir Hallgrimsson’s side - who also beat Finland 1-0 this month - move from 63rd to 60th in the latest rankings.

Scotland have jumped six positions to 45th after they won both their Nations Leagues games in November, against Croatia and Poland respectively.

Wales remain in the 29th spot despite a 5.43 points boost in November, and England remain fourth in the standings (+5.98 points).

Argentina are still ranked the number one team in the world right now despite dropping by 16.25 points. Next it's France in second and then European champions Spain third.
