Norwich new boy Snodgrass thanks Leeds fans

Robert Snodgrass has thanked the Leeds United supporters after ending his four-year stay at Elland Road to join Norwich City.

The Scot, who moved to Carrow Road earlier this week, admits he will never forget his time at the Yorkshire club.

"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank every single person connected with Leeds United for your support over the past four years," Snodgrass told the club's official website.

He added: "I felt the frustration of the Leeds United fans last season and that is why I stayed on a further year to try and help the club back to where they belong.

"I would also like to take his opportunity to wish Neil Warnock and his backroom staff all the best for the new season and the near future."
