Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Arsenal in today’s Premier League clash.

The Reds return to action having spent the international break occupying fifth spot in the table. It has been a fine start to the campaign for Nuno’s men but they know they have a challenging run of fixtures to see out the year - starting against the Gunners this afternoon.

A 3-1 defeat to Newcastle United at the City Ground last time out ended Forest’s three-match winning streak. Murillo had put the hosts in front with his first goal for the club but they ended up being punished for a below-par team performance.

Nuno makes two changes to his starting XI from the loss to Newcastle. Morgan Gibbs-White is not in the match squad while Chris Wood drops to the bench. James Ward-Prowse and Taiwo Awoniyi come into the team.

Ola Aina, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo and Alex Moreno will once again make up the back line ahead of goalkeeper Matz Sels. Ward-Prowse is set to line up alongside Ryan Yates in midfield.

Nicolas Dominguez seems likely to take up the No.10 role in Gibbs-White’s absence, flanked by Anthony Elanga and Callum Hudson-Odoi. There is a rare start for Awoniyi up front.

Carlos Miguel, Morato, Neco Williams, Wood, Harry Toffolo, Eric da Silva Moreira, Jota Silva, Ramon Sosa and Willy Boly will make up the bench. Elliot Anderson is not involved, with Nuno having said on Thursday that he was an injury doubt due to a foot problem.

Forest: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno; Yates, Ward-Prowse; Elanga, Dominguez, Hudson-Odoi; Awoniyi. Subs: Miguel, Morato, Williams, Wood, Toffolo, Moreira, Jota, Sosa, Boly.
