Novak Djokovic caught being told off by his wife after Jelena forgets to end Facebook Live video

Novak Djokovic was given a stern telling-off by his wife Jelena after failing to thank her for filming his practice session on Facebook Live.

The former world number one was preparing for his upcoming involvement in the BNP Paribas Open whilst his wife, Jelena, filmed his practice session at court side.

Towards the end of the 12-minute Facebook Live broadcast the Serbian asks to take the camera himself in order to speak directly to his 7 million-strong fan base.

"No, I like to take the camera, it’s nice," Djokovic says as he takes the phone from Jelena. "It makes me feel more into it, more I guess, friendly."

The 29-year-old then thanks his watching fans before handing the phone back to his irritated wife.

"Where are your manners" says Jelena, with the camera now trained on the tennis court. "Thank you, love, thank you. Isn’t that correct way to say it!?”

Jelena Djokovic then realises to her embarrassment that she has not ended the Facebook Live broadcast, squirming momentarily at the camera before cutting the video short.

The 30-year-old is no stranger to documenting her and husband's lives on Facebook. The Serbian posted a picture of the couple taking the London Underground during last year's Wimbledon tournament.
