Novak Djokovic is without a doubt one of the greatest to ever play the sport of tennis and has a number of unique records and achievements.

Djokovic is the undisputed king of the ATP Rankings with no player holding the World No 1 slot for anywhere near the time the Serb has.

He stands alone in many of his achievements with some only having a name because Djokovic achieved the feat.

Double career Golden Masters

Novak Djokovic is the only player in the history of the sport to complete a collection of all nine active Masters series events.

What’s more is that he hasn’t just done it once but has doubled up winning each event at least twice.

Djokovic completed both of his sets in Cincinnati, first in 2018 and then again in 2020.

He started his winning sequence when he won his first Masters title in 2007 in the Rogers Cup when he became the first man to beat the world’s top three players in one event since Boris Becker achieved that feat in 1994 in Stockholm.

The full set

Novak Djokovic is the only man to hold all 4 Majors and the Year-End Championship simultaneously.

He is the only man to achieve a non-calendar year Grand Slam with a sequence that took in the 2015 Championships Wimbledon and the US Open and the 2016 Australian and French Opens.

In between the US Open and Australian Open triumph, Djokovic claimed the season-ending ATP Tour Finals.

That run also made him the only man to hold all Grand Slam titles at once across all three different surfaces.

Defeated all Top-10 players in a season

During his outrageous 2015 season, Djokovic achieved something never done before and not repeated since.

Over the course of the year, he defeated every player who achieved a top ten ranking during that year.

In total, he won 31 matches against top ten opponents across the year of 2015.

Remarkable 15 finals in a row

Also, during that 2015 season, Djokovic reached 15 ATP Tour finals in a row while playing mind-blowing tennis.

By the end of that 2015 season, Djokovic had an 82-6 record and had won 11 titles across the year.

His 2015 campaign is widely considered to be one of the greatest single-season efforts by any player in the history of tennis.

The Big Titles Sweep

Djokovic also achieved something nobody thought would be done when he completed the so-called big titles sweep.

Like his Golden Masters, Djokovic completed the Big Titles Sweep when he won in Cincinnati in 2018.

Just three seasons later, Djokovic racked up a second Big Titles sweep, claiming each of the 14 annual top-tier events at least twice.

Djokovic completed the double when he produced an epic comeback to down Stefanos Tsitsipas in the 2021 French Open final.
