NPFL clubs interested in ex-Kano Pillars defender Ogbonnaya

The Chanji Boys’ striker has thumbed up the role their supporters played in midweek's win over Sai Masu Gida

Rueben Ogbonnaya reveals that he is in talks with some Nigeria Professional Football League clubs.

Ogbonnaya’s bulky frame seem to be attracting topflight clubs looking to strengthen their back line for the final stretch of the 2016/17 mid season transfer window.

“It’s kind of motivating to see interest from clubs but it’s not advisable to always rush at offers," Ogbonnaya told Goal.

"But it’s good that I have the right team around me who are working with a network of agents to seal the best deal for me," he continued.

“I’ve had to discuss in the past with clubs but I think it’s wiser to leave that to my agent who has done an encouraging work so far.

"I will continue to focus on my game as that is my major priority,” he concluded.
