Despite feeling their hosts were not too outstanding; the Flying Antelopes boss claims he is saddened with the team's performance

Gbenga Ogunbote reveals that he is looking to bring in 'one or two players' in the current mid-season transfer window to boost his Enyimba squad.

The coach confirmed that the team resumed training on Monday in preparation for the resumption of the second round of the league.

"We are back again, we resumed on Monday and we are preparing for the resumption of the second round. We shall do our bit and hopefully, God will crown our effort with the reality of our heart desire," Ogunbote told Goal.

"We are not bringing in so many players, our focus is just to bring in one or two players so as to continue to build on the understanding in the team.

"The sole target this season is to be champions so we want to prepare well for this season and take advantage of opportunities that come our way.

"The second half will be tougher than the first round and that means we have to exhibit strong character, sound mental strength and determination to conquer all obstacles," he concluded.
