Patrick Rodgers exited the golf course Friday with a one-shot lead at this week's OHL Classic at Mayakoba with the second round suspended due to darkness.
Rodgers, who reached 11 under after four straight birdies, had just three holes left in Round 2 when the horn blew. He was 7 under overall for the day.
First-round leader Patton Kizzire and Rickie Fowler were one shot back at 10 under. Kizzire finished his second round with a 1-under 70, while Fowler still had three holes left to play.
Brian Gay and Brandon Harkins were lurking two shots back at 9 under. Both players had concluded their second rounds.
Martin Piller could be one to watch Saturday morning when the second round resumes. He shot a 3-under 32 on the front nine and concluded Friday already 8 under for the tournament with his entire second-round back nine remaining.
