Dare Ojo has refused to rule out Enyimba's chances of lifting a silverware this season.
The People's Elephants are seventh in the Nigeria Professional Football League table after 19 matches.
However, Ojo still hopes his team makes up ground on league leaders, Plateau United in the NPFL.
"At a team of Enyimba's status, we always fight for trophies. Right now we are hoping to have an excellent second round and see how it goes. The title race is still open and we have what it takes to be victorious in the challenge," Ojo told Goal.
"We want to end the season with a trophy and I think we are still in it. We can still make it and we have to take one game at a time. We have set the target of getting a positive result in our next game at Remo Stars."
"Champions are made by the way they strive to greater heights. We want to prove that we are still the greatest club in Nigeria with our performance," he concluded.
