Anthony Joshua is bidding to become a three-time heavyweight champion when he faces Oleksandr Usyk this summer.

In September 2021, Usyk outclassed Joshua to win on points in London and became a two-weight world champion - and just the second after Evander Holyfield to unify both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.

The Ukrainian southpaw will now face Joshua once again and Eddie Hearn has revealed the fight will be confirmed this week. Ahead of the announcement, we take a look at everything we know so far.

When will the fight take place?

It was originally pencilled in for July 23 but negotiations between both teams have taken longer than normal. Things were delayed due to a battle of broadcasters for TV rights as well as the venue to stage the heavyweight rematch. Planet Sport has been told that it will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and August 20 is the chosen date.

Will it be a UK-friendly timezone?

While Saudi Arabia is a seven-hour flight from the UK, it will not mean the fight takes place at a late time. When Joshua previously fought in Saudi Arabia against Andy Ruiz Jr, the main event happened at 21:00 BST. Expect a similar time.

How can I watch Usyk v Joshua 2?

Anthony Joshua signed a multi-fight deal with DAZN UK and it is believed to be worth eight figures.

The heavyweight left Sky Sports after an eight-year association with them and not only will he fight on the platform, he will become a stakeholder in the company.

His first fight on the OTT streaming service provider will be against Usyk this summer.

AJ said: "I am entering a new phase in my career with a new training environment, new coaches and now a new broadcaster. "Negotiations at this level take time so I am pleased to have it all wrapped up and now I can fully focus on giving the fans and DAZN what they want, knockouts in the glamour division. "I've been working with DAZN and following its progress for a long time. "We have enjoyed a really successful partnership in the US for many years and I know the team and understand the passion and drive of the business. "DAZN's vision and passion to innovate is what attracted me to the partnership. "They are leading the digital landscape in sport and the future of sports broadcasting. I am really looking forward to a long and successful partnership."

How can I get tickets?

Matchroom Boxing recently agreed a deal to work with ticket supplier Stage Front from July 1. Tickets online will be confirmed in due course.
