Oli Wilson makes key decision on Huddersfield Giants future
Huddersfield Giants have secured England international Oli Wilson on a new contract. Rugby League Live can reveal that the prop, one of the best young props in Super League, has signed a contract extension with the club ahead of the 2025 campaign.
Wilson, 24, was already under contract until the end of the 2027 season at the John Smith's Stadium but he has now committed his future further after signing an extension to his current deal which will see him remain with the Giants during his prime years.
He joined to club from Bradford Bulls for an undisclosed fee as a teenager, and the England academy representative has gone on to establish himself as a mainstay in the Giants' first-team squad.

He has made 95 appearances for the Claret and Gold and earlier this year he made his England debut, playing for Shaun Wane's side in the mid-season victory over France.
The Giants, who head into the season with Luke Robinson as their new head coach, have signed extensively ahead of the new season with their recruitment drive headlined by the arrival of England stalwart Tom Burgess. Wilson is set to play a significant role in that pack as they look to bring an end to two years outside of the play-offs.
The retention of Wilson will help the club's long-term recruitment planning. With British middles at a premium, retaining the forward ensures the Giants can plan around having him at the club.
Huddersfield currently have nine players off-contract heading into 2025. Aidan McGowan, Connor Carr, Harvey Livett, Jack Bibby, Jake Bibby, Joe Greenwood, Leroy Cudjoe, Thomas Deakin and Zac Woolford are all in the last year of their existing deals with the club.
