Manchester City face Olympiacos in the Champions League on Wednesday as Pep Guardiola and his men seek to all but confirm qualification for the next phase of Europe’s elite competition.

City emerged 3-0 victors over the Greek club in the reverse fixture at the start of November, with Joao Cancelo, Ferran Torres and Gabriel Jesus the goalscorers in Manchester.

With the Premier League team perfect in the tournament thus far this season, they should be confident of reproducing their last result against Pedro Martins’ players and reaching 12 points from 12 in Group C – essentially sealing their spot in the last 16.

Here’s all you need to know about the Champions League game in Greece.

Prediction

Since City played Olympiacos at the start of the month, Guardiola’s side have drawn one – versus Liverpool – and lost one – against Tottenham. A brief break from the Premier League, against opposition that didn’t cause much trouble last time out, might just be exactly what City need. Expect them to respond positively here. Olympiacos 0-2 Man City.
