I finally got the hang of painting my nails during the year of lockdown.
If you haven’t yet found your nail-painting groove, one of the most crucial tips I can give you is to wait at least five minutes in between coats to prevent smearing. You’ll thank me later. But along with the many tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way, I found one of the best nail polish brands in the game.
Thanks to Nails Inc., I now thoroughly enjoy painting my own nails when I can’t get gel polish manicures done in a salon. The polish also works great for when you want to rejuvenate your nails after having gel polish on for a while.
While Thea Green founded Nails Inc. in 1999, I only started using the London-based brand about a year ago. I haven’t looked back since.
Not only are Nails Inc. polishes nearly 100 percent vegan and “10-free” (meaning they don’t harmful chemicals such as phthalates, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin or toluene), but the polish lasts longer than any other I’ve tried. Plus, because each nail color is air and water permeable, meaning it doesn’t lose shine right away.
Shop: Nails Inc. NailPure Nail Polish, $12.75 with code ITKNAILSINC15 (Orig. $15)
Currently you can shop Nails Inc. polishes in more than 20 shades across all of the brand’s many different polish collections, including NailPure, Plant Power, 45-Second Speedy Gloss and Gel Effect.
If you want to stock up on several colors at once, don’t forget to browse Nails Inc. large selection of polish sets and other helpful treatment kits like this five-piece pedicure set.
While there are so many hues to choose from, I’ll leave you with my favorite set. I know I won’t be able to stop using the new Relationship Status set for spring and summer since it includes four gorgeous pinks that just scream warmer weather.
