Oxford and Bristol Rovers have both been charged by the Football Association for failing to control their players during last weekend's League Two clash at the Kassam Stadium.
The FA have punished the pair for "failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour". Both clubs have until 4pm on October 17 to respond to the charge.
A statement on Oxford`s official website read: "After an initial review of video at the match, the club are surprised at the charge. However the club are currently reviewing the full report and video evidence before making any further comment."
