OXFORD United will host Leyton Orient in their first Papa John’s Trophy game of the season.

The U’s welcome the Sky Bet League Two side to the Kassam Stadium in their Southern Group G opener on Tuesday, August 30 (7.45pm).

United’s second match will be at home to Chelsea Under 21s in September, but the date and time is still unconfirmed.

They end the group stage with a trip to another League Two side, Sutton United, on Tuesday, August 18 (7.45pm).

It will be United’s first visit to Gander Green Lane, having never played the south west London club in a competitive fixture.

The U’s did not progress past the group stage in last season’s Trophy, but reached the final in 2016 and 2017.
