OXFORDSHIRE clubs have learnt who they will face in the early rounds of this season’s Emirates FA Cup and the Isuzu FA Trophy.

Didcot Town will host Shrivenham in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup, while there are trips to Gloucestershire for Kidlington and Wantage Town, who visit Lydney Town and Bishop’s Cleeve respectively.

Ardley United have been drawn at home to Wokingham and Emmbrook, while Easington Sports travel to Burnham.

Ties will take place on August 6.

Fixtures for the preliminary round draw will take place a fortnight later, and will see Thame United make the short journey to Marlow.

If they get past the extra preliminary round, Kidlington, Didcot and Wantage will host Binfield, Cadbury Heath or Mangotsfield United, and Briscombe & Thrupp or Fairford Town respectively.

Ardley will visit either Ashton & Backwell United or Aylesbury United, while Easington will host Roman Glass St George or Tring Athletic.

The FA Trophy meanwhile has thrown up a possible Oxfordshire battle.

Kidlington and Didcot could face each other if they get through their first round qualifying games on September 10.

Both sides are at home, with Kidlington welcoming Tavistock, and Hamworthy United travelling to Didcot.

Thame host Westbury United, and will face Marlow or Binfield in the second round of qualifying if they get past Westbury.

Second round of qualifying will take place on September 24.
