Fashion trends are fleeting, and it’s often hard to tell which ones you should truly invest in and which will be gone by tomorrow (just like your latest Hinge connection). Remember the neon trend? Let’s not relive that one.

One trend that really wants something long-term is oversized blazers. They’ve put in the work, they keep coming around and now we are officially falling in love. That being said, I’m going to show you a few ways you can reinvent your oversized blazers to create multiple outfits — without breaking the bank.

My first look is an everyday oversized blazer with skinny jeans. This is a great look for the office or grabbing lunch with a friend. I’ve paired my favorite Rag & Bone black skinny jeans (I found them at an outlet mall on sale) and a Zara white combat boot, which is a must have shoe for fall and winter. To round out the look, I added a Zara navy pinstripe blazer and white bodysuit. My rule with oversized-anything is to have one accompanying piece that is form-fitting to really accentuate the blazer.

Plus, this look is easily transitioned from day to night. Some of us have been going back into the office, and may even have the occasional after work drink with a new dating app connection (don’t get too attached). For a night look, I changed out my combat boots for a below-the-knee heel boot. This changes your entire outfit in an instant — and you didn’t need to go all the way home to change your outfit (He’s probably not worth that!).

My next look is Upper East Side Blair Waldorf meets “Emily in Paris.” Day date at the MoMa, anyone? I found this set from Zara a few months ago, and knew I had to have it. Pairing an oversized blazer with a matching skirt or short says, “I’m not to be messed with.” I added a cozy sweater because comfort is key — and don’t forget a knee-high boot.

I cannot stress enough that matching sets will forever and always be my favorite. There’s something very Cher Horowitz from “Clueless” about this look, and I found a few similar pieces that I think you’ll love.

This next look is for your average lazy Saturday. Whether you’re running errands, grabbing lunch or just getting out of the house, baggy jeans, sneakers and your favorite blazer really do make a statement. It took me a while to be a fan of everything oversized, but I learned the trick is to have each item be just baggy enough.

I paired this one with my favorite baggy jeans, which are from Forever 21. I’ve had them for over 5 years, so I think that makes them vintage? I finished off this look with a simple white tee. This one is from Good Life, because some pieces are worth a little extra money if you know you will wear them often. I wear this tee at least three times a week and can honestly say it is one of my favorites. Throw on a pair of sneakers, and you are ready for the day!

Date night at home? Martinis will be served at 6, and your outfit will be serving all night.

Another way to wear your oversized blazers is synching it at the waist with a belt. To transform a typical blazer into a blazer dress, I recommend choosing one in silk or satin to get that fitted look. My blazer dress is something that has stuck with me for years because I love this color green. I found you a similar one, because I would never leave a fellow fashionista hanging like that!

Another option for date night is pulling off a really trendy style with a structured blazer and combat boot. Both looks are equally as fashionable.

My last look is for that Sunday morning stroll to get coffee: biker shorts, a hooded sweatshirt, sneakers and your trusty blazer. There is something very Hailey Bieber about this look, and that excites me.

Shorts won’t work for much longer, so get this look on the ‘gram as soon as you can. I always find my biker shorts on Amazon because they’re cheap, comfortable and always come multi-pack. What more could a girl want?
