Palace face competition from 'clubs abroad' for reported loan target
PALACE face competition from abroad in the club's reported pursuit of former defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The full-back has failed to hit the heights expected of him after joining Manchester United for nearly £50 million in 2019.
Wan-Bissaka was outstanding for Palace, hence the move to the Red Devils, but he has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford this season.
It is believed that the Eagles want to re-sign the defender on loan in the summer, a move that could give him a chance to revitalise his career.
However, there could be a stumbling block as Sky Sports reported Michael Bridge believes that clubs from abroad could also be interested in a loan move for the 24-year-old.
Bridge told GIVEMESPORT: “I thought when I first saw him at Palace that he was going to be England’s right-back for the next 10 years, but it just didn’t turn out that way.
“He’s very limited in certain areas. So, I don’t know whether it would be a loan for him.
“I’ve heard a few murmurs that there’s clubs abroad that would like to take him for a year, so it’s a bit of a wait and see with that one.”
