Inter Milan's 4-3 win over Sassuolo was disrupted by a parachutist landing in the middle of the pitch.

The intruder, in Inter's colours and wearing the team's scarf, landed on the field just as Romelu Lukaku was about to take a penalty for the visiting side.

Security soon ushered the parachutist off the field but Lukaku seemed unbothered, as he converted the penalty for his second goal of the match and fifth of the season.

Lautaro Martinez also scored two for Inter, who moved back to second place in Serie A and within a point of defending champions Juventus, who defeated Bologna 2-1 on Saturday.

It was an emotional day for Sassuolo, playing for the first time since the death of club owner Giorgio Squinzi.

There was a minute's silence observed in Squinzi's memory before the game and Domenico Berardi dedicated Sassuolo's opening goal to him by pointing to the sky.

Lukaku, Inter's prized off-season signing from Manchester United, now has five goals in eight Italian league matches and four in the Nerazzurri's four away matches.

Before Lukaku, the last Inter player to score four or more in his first four away Serie A games was Diego Milito in November 2009 - the season in which Milito led them to the Champions League title.

Filip Djuricic and Jeremie Boga scored late for Sassuolo after Inter had gone 4-1 up.
