Paris Jackson hit back at body-shamers with a truly candid Instagram post.

The 19-year-old star posted a photo of her long leg hair to her 1.9 million followers, captioning it: “If you’re not competing with your brother over who can grow longer leg hair, wyed.”

It follows Jackson’s VMAs red carpet debut on Sunday night which saw her showing off armpit hair while wearing a dreamy Dior dress.

The daughter of Michael Jackson has been outspoken about her au naturel beauty style in the past.

Earlier this year, she went on a body-positive rant on Snapchat, saying: “I didn’t realize that people were going to get so upset over my armpit hair. I didn’t realize that was such an issue. It is so funny.”

“People are really mad. I wish I could post some of these responses. You can just tell how angry and infuriated these people are… I love hair, and sweat, and BO. I think it’s great.

“Some people think that it’s like super disgusting, especially on girls, but every human body does it. It’s natural. Get over it.”

After her “shocking reveal” on the VMAs red carpet, people all over the web asked the teen why she chose not to shave. In her usual witty way, Jackson replied with a Game of Thrones meme: “Winter is coming.”

Jackson is certainly not the only young star to embrace her body hair. Bella Thorne showed off her impressive leg hair on Snapchat in June, and Madonna’s 20-year-old daughter, Lourdes, has also been known to keep her armpit hair long.

Isn’t it time we stopped caring about body hair on women? If a woman wants to grow out her leg or armpit hair, let her.

After all, it’s perfectly natural. And as Jackson said, winter is coming.
