Pass or fail: LeBron James debuts new 'Space Jam' jerseys
Los Angeles Lakers star — or should we say Tune Squad star — LeBron James is inching closer to his “Space Jam” debut. In anticipation of the new film, James finally showed off the new Tune Squad jersey he’ll be wearing in “Space Jam: A New Legacy.”
The jersey was revealed in a video shown to I Promise families. James’ business manager, Maverick Carter, introduced the footage, which then cut to a shot of James walking in his jersey.
How did it look? You can be the judge:

The footage doesn’t contain any dialogue from James. It’s just a shot of him walking toward the camera and loosening up.
What’s better? The new or old ‘Space Jam’ jerseys

The old jerseys — worn by Michael Jordan — are definitely more traditional. They are just white with the Tune Squad logo across the chest. The piping is colorful, though.
With the new jerseys, things are full of color. The entire jersey is blue. Across the chest, it reads “Tune Squad.” The “Looney Tunes” logo is much larger and is off to the side on the new uniforms.
Given how opinionated people are when it comes to James and Jordan, there should be plenty of opinions on which uniform is better. While James and Co. could have recycled the Jordan jerseys, they decided to create an updated version that better captures modern uniforms.
Maybe you love that and maybe you hate it. But at least the James jerseys aren’t playing it safe.
