Where skateboarding and streetwear brand Supreme counts Kanye West and Justin Bieber among its cult following, makeup artist Pat McGrath and her eponymous makeup line, Pat McGrath Labs, has Kim Kardashian and Hailey Bieber. (Coincidentally, Kim and Hailey are also Supreme fans.)

It makes perfect sense then (or, at least just as much sense as Supreme’s collaboration with Oreo cookies) that the two brands would pair up for their own launch.

The Supreme and Pat McGrath Labs collaboration introduces an exclusive shade of the beauty brand’s MatteTrance Lipstick in Supreme - an “iconic” bright red, as a press release for the lipstick noted.

The lipstick went on sale today and, in typical Supreme fashion, has already sold out. According to the Twitter account @dropssupreme, the lipstick reportedly sold out with 8.6 seconds of going live online.

The matte finish lipstick is housed in McGrath’s signature gold lip embellished tube with a red Supreme makeover that includes the brand’s logo emblazoned along the side.

The lipstick, which marks the first time Supreme has entered the beauty sphere in its 26-year history, joins a collection of Fall/Winter 2020 accessories for the clothing brand.

The lineup also includes a goldfish bowl, Colgate toothpaste and a Chucky doll (yes, of horror film fame) wielding a Supreme knife in his logo-covered overalls and turtleneck.

The lipstick was available exclusively on the Supreme website until it sold out - however it will inevitably make the rounds on eBay like its Oreo predecessor for a totally reasonable $16,000, that is.
