Paul Pogba injury blow for Manchester United as midfielder limps out of Europa League tie

Manchester United have been dealt an injury blow after Paul Pogba limped out of their Europa League tie with FC Rostov.

Jose Mourinho looked concerned on the touchline as the world-record signing appeared to have tweaked his hamstring and signalled to the bench.

Marouane Fellaini was immediately prepared for action and took to the field on 48 minutes with the game still on a knife-edge at Old Trafford.

Pogba’s departure came as United were clinging onto the slender advantage afforded to them by the away goal they scored in Rostov in the first leg.

The Red Devils dominated the first half of proceedings and Zlatan Ibrahimovic was unfortunate not to break the deadlock when his shot struck the post.

Mourinho was dealt a further blow when Daley Blind had to be replaced by Phil Jones after failing to recover following lengthy treatment by the United physio.
