Paul Warne reveals Derby County dressing room mood after 'sore' Sheffield Wednesday loss
Paul Warne admitted his Derby County dressing room was "lower than a snake's belly" after Sheffield Wednesday snatched a last-gasp win at Pride Park.
The Rams were beaten 2-1 in the Championship clash as Jamal Lowe's winner in the 94th minute banked all three points for Danny Rohl's side.
But that does not tell the full story as Derby wasted some big chances to double their lead having scored early through Ebou Adams. Jerry Yates was denied by a big save from James Beadle when it looked easier to score and then he hit the bar from inside the six-yard box.

Barry Bannan then hauled the Owls back into the game with a splendid strike from distance before Lowe converted Callum Paterson's cross. And Derby head coach Warne said: "I am bit sore. I thought we were really good and the performance levels were really good. I am really proud of everyone's efforts and you can imagine the dressing room is lower than a snake's belly.
"We just didn't get the elusive second goal. If you give the opposition a chance and I think Barry is the only player on the pitch who was going to score a goal like that. We only conceded two shots on target and I am just disappointed for the dressing room really.
"They didn't deserve that. But we can't keep saying we were unlucky. That's three home games now where I think we could have had nine points and got one. Some of the performances were outstanding and I enjoyed watching the team. But we are judged on results not performances so really disappointing because I thought we did enough to get a positive result."
