People Are Getting McDonald's FRINGES On TikTok

We've seen it all now.

People on TikTok are getting hairstyles inspired by McDonald's. OK, so it's not exactly a Big Mac, Fries or McFlurry-inspired 'do, but it's doing the rounds on TikTok and we're not exactly sure how to feel about it.

People are essentially getting curtain fringes (or bangs, if you're so inclined) and calling them McDonald's fringes because of their similarity to the golden arches.

When you watch enough of these videos, you can kind of see what they mean.

The trend is thought to have been started by influencer Matilda Djerf, who is known for her enviable voluminous hair.

Many TikTokers have followed suit and cut in the voluminous fringe, and it actually looks pretty cute.

Styling the Maccies fringe appears to involve damp hair, separating the rest of your hair from the golden arches fringe, and then using a round brush and hairdryer to keep the fringe nice and bouncy.

Other influencers are actively trying to get rid of their McDonald's bangs, saying they prefer a slightly less, er, bouncy look.

Whatever next? A Burger King bob?

If you prefer to keep your McDonald's strictly food-based, you're going to LOVE this new summer menu item rumoured to be dropping this month.

A Lotus Biscoff McFlurry could very well be arriving by the end of June! The new McFlurry flavour was first launched in 2021 in France, Belgian and Singapore, so it's been a VERY long time coming for the UK.
