Peter Crouch can't hide Rangers first-time feeling as Tottenham icon labels Ibrox debut 'a real honour'
Peter Crouch travelled to Rangers' Ibrox Stadium for the first time in his life on Thursday night, as part of the TNT punditry team for Tottenham's visit to Govan - and the lanky ex-striker stated that he couldn't wait to witness the history of the place, labelling his visit 'a real honour'.
Crouch featured in 468 Premier League games, alongside 53 European appearances at Stoke City, Portsmouth, Tottenham, Liverpool and Aston Villa - though he never made his way north of the border in that time.
It's a first visit to Ibrox for the former England international in that case, and standing alongside Alan Hutton, he stated that he couldn't wait to get amongst the giants like his punditry partner - before stating that even walking amongst the trophy cabinet was a 'real honour'.

Speaking on TNT Sports, Crouch said: “I never got the opportunity to play here, and I’ve never been up here as a fan either, so it’s somewhere that I’ve always wanted to come and watch football, you know.
“You think back to the Gazza [Paul Gascoigne] days when he was here, obviously Ally McCoist…Alan Hutton…some of the greats that have graced this pitch!
“It’s a real honour for me to be here and I’m looking forward to it. I had a little look round, obviously there’s some famous old bits and pieces that you’ve seen - the trophy room is amazing - and I’m looking forward to it.”
And Hutton joked back despite Crouch chuckling at his mention in the Ibrox greats, adding: “I thought you had played here the way you were mobbed walking in!”
