Philippe Clement addresses Hamza Igamane Rangers passport chaos as boss 'not happy'
Philippe Clement insists he was "not happy" that Hamza Igamane's passport issues caused him to miss this evening's clash with Malmo.
The Moroccan was unable to fly with the squad due to problems with his travel documents and had to stay home as his side beat their Europa League opponents 2-0 in Sweden thanks to goals from Nedim Bajrami and Ross McCausland. It was a relatively convincing win for the Ibrox outfit but Igamane's problems still did not sit right with the boss.
And he explained how it was a frustration he didn't need in the build-up to what was expected to be a difficult tie - before revealing he planned to focus on the positives of the victory.

"I was not happy with that, clearly not," Clement told TNT. "There were issues with his passport so those are situations you don't want to face as a manager but I want to focus on the football and the good things of this day."
Clement was chuffed with his players' performance against stout opposition but he admits he would have liked to see them kill off their opponents given how many chances they created.
He added: "The only small thing you can say is if you kill off the game in the first-half then it's different. But I think they showed a really good game today and we'll continue working on finishing. Best of the season so far? Yes I think so. But it doesn't mean it'll stay the best, I think we need to work hard to make it better and better what we do."
