Alexis Sanchez got caught up in the thick of the physical action towards the end of Arsenal's clash with Leicester on Wednesday night - and the forward took to social media to reveal the extent of his 'injury' following the game.
It had been far from a classic encounter, and the Chilean's melodramatics towards the end of the game were arguably the most memorable thing to have happened over the course of the 90 minutes.
Sanchez collided with Arsenal match-winner Robert Huth, who had scored an own-goal, in injury time, just moments after he stood right in the way of a Christian Fuchs trademark long throw-in.
Fuchs deliberately threw the ball at the Chilean, who was stood on the line, who embarrassingly went down clutching his face as replays showed it clearly hit him on the shoulder.
Undeceived by Sanchez's victim-playing, referee Mike Jones handed the former Barcelona man a yellow card for his troubles.
After the game, the 28-year-old took to Twitter to share an image of his gruesome and not-for-the-feint-hearted injuries...

The Gunners climbed back into sixth in the Premier League table with the 1-0 victory above Everton, and are trying to keep pace with the two Manchester clubs and Liverpool for a Champions League qualification spot.
Arsene Wenger recently changed to a 'three at the back' formation after a toothless display against Crystal Palace and has won every game since.
