The recent Manchester Derby between City and United threw up a number of various duels and tussles amongst the rivalling players from both conflicting outfits, a signal of frustration from a number of guilty culprits in a battle which ended 0-0 at the Etihad last Thursday evening.
Other than Marouane Fellaini's idiotic headbutt on City's Sergio Aguero - a rush of blood which saw the Belgian international sent off - it has surfaced that Fellaini's fellow Belgium and City teammate Vincent Kompany has offered an apology to United's Timothy Fosu-Mensah, after a challenge from the physical centre-back left the young Dutchman with a dislocated shoulder, moments after his arrival to the pitch.
Kompany's attempt to make amends with Fosu-Mensah was captured on the 19-year-old's Instagram Stories, according to a report provided by 101GreatGoals.
It's safe to say that despite the 'gesture' being in the shape of the Sky Blue variety, it has been duly 'accepted' by the forgiving Red Devils defender.

Fosu-Mensah entered the fray for Jose Mourinho's men just before the death of the tie, in the 86th minute of play.
Due to the nature of the injury sustained from Kompany's ruthless challenge, United's fledgling number 24 has been ruled out for the rest of the 2016-17 Premier League campaign.
At least it seems that Fosu-Mensah has all the time in the world to admire the latest addition to his bedroom wall, perhaps. Kompany is evidently a class act.
