Barkley arrived at the Toffees' training ground in a hat and a pair of shades, but left with his face on show to photographers, who captured the state of his face.

The Englishman has sustained some nasty-looking bruising and swelling around his eye and can arguably count himself lucky he didn't come off worse.
Barkley was in a Liverpool club on Sunday night following his side's 4-2 victory over Leicester City, and was knocked to the ground by a man in a seemingly unprovoked attack.
The 23-year-old was not knocked unconscious by the blow and was free to return to training on Monday with the club, but only after medical staff cleared him - stricter guidelines regarding head injuries have recently been put in place by the FA.
Barkley is now free to be selected for the Toffees' next Premier League match against Burnley, and will not face any action from the club over the nightclub incident.
There is mutual understanding between club and player that Barkley had hit the cocktail bar with friends to wind down with friends after the impressive victory over the Foxes.
The incident, caught on CCTV, is being chased up by Merseyside Police, but have not yet been contact by Barkley's legal team, who are said to be considering their options along with the player.
