Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra has managed to track down a Dortmund supporter who proudly wore her yellow jersey while in the home end during last weekend's 150th Revierderby in Gelsenkirchen.
The Spaniard launched an appeal on social media to find the supporter, named Steffi, and by Thursday he had met her at Dortmund's training ground, giving her a signed shirt.
On Monday, after the 1-1 draw with Schalke, Bartra originally posted : " I want to meet this woman! Will you help me find her? I wanna gift her my shirt! Help me with RT + hashtag #SheLovesBVB@BVB #EchteLiebe "
Yesss!! Thanks to everybody: fans, media... all of you! We've found our brave supporter! A promise is a promise, see you soon Steffi! pic.twitter.com/Cl2aXvWhGJ— Marc Bartra (@MarcBartra) April 3, 2017
And, after the series of tweets went viral, he found her, writing: " Yesss!! Thanks to everybody: fans, media... all of you! We've found our brave supporter! A promise is a promise, see you soon Steffi!"
The former Barcelona man lived up to his promise, being pictured with the supporter at Dortmund's training ground.
