Chicago Fire's new signing Bastian Schweinsteiger was asked by a fan in Toronto to take a picture of herself and other Chicago Fire players - completely unaware of the fact that she'd requested a World Cup winner to take the snap.
Schweinsteiger has had a mixed start in the MLS. The former Bayern Munich and Manchester United man has begun life on the pitch very well, having scored two goals in three matches for his new team, and his side are unbeaten since his arrival. But the Bayern Munich fan favourite isn't too well known off it.
As is visible from Chicago Fire's assistant manager, Eric Gehrig's tweet, the midfielder who can boast eight Bundesliga titles and a Champions League seems somewhat anonymous over in the Americas.
Schweinsteiger was mobbed by fans upon his arrival to Chicago in March, but is quite clearly unrecognisable to those outside of the city.
This follows on from the German's unveiling press conference, whereby the new signing was asked about his team's chances of winning the World Cup.
Perhaps the 32-year-old is enjoying the lack of knowledge that those in the MLS have about him, he certainly has a large grin on his face in the photo.
